11 Steps to Configure DAX LAN EXTANDER:-
Dax Lan Extender use to connect Local Area Network through telephone cable (1 pair) using RJ 45 connector for best result use up to 9 to 12 kms.
Dax Lan Extender Ports
Step 1:Change IP address of PC keep in same network of the Dax i.e 192.168.0.x .

Step 2: Connect Dax to PC Through Straight LAN cable .
Step 3: Open internet explorer and type IP address 192.168.0.1 in URL then GO.
Step 4: One Window will Come (Connect to 192.168.0.1) type user name “root” and password “root” .

Step 5: After that comes up SHDSL console go BASIC function menu.

Step 6: On the BASIC – STEP1 default operation mode is configured.

Step 7: Change default configuration System Mode to BRIDGE and SHDSL Mode to CO Side or Admin Side (at one Side) don’t configure same at both side.

Step 8: Change default configuration System Mode to BRIDGE and SHDSL Mode to CPE Side or User Side (at another Side) don’t configure same at both side then go next.

Step 9: Configure an IP address on both (CO side and CPE side) on 192.168.0.x network, X- IP range between 1-254.And keep all configuration as default then go next.

Step 10: Please check review all configuration (System mode, LAN Interface and WAN Interface) correct, and then go next to restart Dax.

Step11: Please Save Configuration and follow the UTILITY-RESTART message.Check after restart, your Dax Modem configured successfully.
